3. WHAT'S NEW: changes in reports.
  1. (New 12-10-2020) The Federal Register Notice of mandatory reporting requirements for the annual survey SHCA(Dec 2020), "U.S. Ownership of Foreign Securities, including Selected Money Market Instruments, as of December 31, 2020" was published on December 10, 2020. All entities that are contacted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to file are required to report. Entities not so contacted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York have no reporting responsibilities.

  2. (06-08-2020) The Federal Register Notice of mandatory reporting requirements for SHLA(June2020), "Foreign-Residents' Holdings of U.S. Securities, including Selected Money Market Instruments, as of June 30, 2020", will be published on June 8, 2020. All entities that are contacted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to file are required to report. Entities not so contacted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York have no reporting responsibilities.

  3. (Update 01-17-2020) The changes in the TIC B-Forms and in the TIC C-Forms covered in two Federal Register Notices dated (08-07-2019} have become effective. Specifically: (1) for the B-forms changes in the instructions and form BC become effective for reports as-of December 2019 and thereafter, and the revised form BQ-1 becomes effective for reports as-of June 2020 and thereafter; and (2) for the C-forms changes in the instructions (there are no changes in the forms) are effective for reports as of December 2019 and thereafter.

  4. (REVISED 08-31-2018) The final Instructions, which are effective for reports as-of September 2018 and afterwards, are available for Form SLT: Aggregate Holdings of Long-Term Securities by U.S. and Foreign Residents. These instructions of June 2018 include clarifications requested by the public; they are in addition to the revisions proposed in the Federal Register Notice of January 17, 2018. There are no changes in Form SLT.

  5. The list of selected Foreign Official Institutions (FOI list) for use on all TIC reports was changed, effective August 2014. The Only change is the removal of Banco do Brasil, under Brazil. The list is on column B1 on the foihome webpage. (Posted 08-06-2014)

  6. IMPORTANT FOR ALL: The Reporting Central application is used for all electronic submissions of the TIC monthly and quarterly reports (all B-forms, C-forms, Form D, Form S, and Form SLT).
