Undergraduate Advising

Current Undergraduate College of Music Students,

Due to the university’s policy regarding COVID-19, we will be advising students virtually through two different mediums:

If you would like to communicate via Email please send your downloaded and filled-out advising record to music.advising@unt.edu. Please allow 1 business day for an advisor to respond.

If you would like to communicate via Zoom, please sign-in for a drop-in appointment at: tinyurl.com/musicwalkin and the first available advisor will email you a link for a Zoom meeting. Please make sure to check your UNT Email for this link, and be prepared for the meeting to start within 30 minutes. You can check the waiting list here. Virtual Drop-in hours are available Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

College of Music Undergraduate Advising Office offers academic advising to all undergraduate students interested in majoring or minoring in music at UNT's College of Music. By working with an advisor, students learn about the many resources available to all UNT students. Advisors help students make informed decisions regarding their degree progress and educational planning.

Graduate students should seek academic advising through the UNT College of Music Office of Graduate Studies.
