UNT has about 4,000 students impacted by Hurricane Harvey and is encouraging faculty and staff to be especially compassionate and flexible with them as they tra...nsition into the fall semester. UNT also is working with students to provide them with an educational home if they were displaced by the storm. We are waiving application fees and giving them immediate admittance so they can start the fall semester as soon as possible.
"As we watch the news about Hurricane Harvey's impact on Texas' Gulf Coast, our thoughts are with the people affected," President Neal Smatresk said. "Our university is a community of great compassion, and I know that we will support the impacted individuals in every way we can."

http://www.usatoday.com/…/college-football-confer…/91925354/ Doc Student Cody Kellner in USA Today: "Strength of schedule: Strength of schedule ratings were compiled by Cody Kellner, a PhD student in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement at the University of North Texas. Kellner bases his strength of schedule measurements on the average of each opponent's individual rating that each team has played up to that point during the current season.
Each team's individual rating is a reflection of every game result of the current season as well as well as the previous season, factoring the opponent’s rating plus or minus 100 if the result is from the previous season or plus or minus 200 if the result is from the current season. "
