Ecosystem impacts of Climate Change in the Pacific Northwest
In the Pacific Northwest, increased greenhouse gases and warmer temperatures have resulted in a number of physical and chemical impacts.
All of these changes will cause major perturbations to ecosystem conditions, possibly imperiling species that evolved in response to local conditions. Click on an ecosystem type below to learn more about how these places, and the plants and animals that live there, are affected by climate change in the Pacific Region.
