Purpose Statement

The Public Protection Committee is to serve the Board by reviewing, commenting on and recommending new and/or modifications to existing policy related to public protection services and facilities within the County. Public protection refers to law enforcement, fire services, ambulance services, and local and regional emergency services planning and coordination.
