The Tuolumne County Planning Commission is composed of residents of various parts of Tuolumne County. The commission serves as the planning hearing body for a variety of proposed changes in land use such as General Plan amendments and zoning changes. It also hears many planning projects, and makes recommendations to the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors.

The area subject to the Commission is all of the unincorporated lands of Tuolumne County, or all properties outside of the boundaries of the City of Sonora. The roster of the current Commissioners can be found via a link located on the right side of this page.
