Mexico-Based Carriers GENERAL: I am a Mexico-domiciled motor carrier. Do I need an MX number if I’m just going one or two miles into the U.S.? LONG HAUL: I read in the paper that the border was opened to Mexico-domiciled trucks. Does this mean that all Mexico-domiciled trucks can go anywhere in the U.S. that they want?
