The cool days and cold nights of fall and winter are on the way, and the U.S. Army Rheinland-Pfalz Safety Office wants to help keep Soldiers, family members, civilians and retirees safe during all seasonal activities.
Effective in November, Transportation Motor Pool vehicles can only be dispatched if the military driver's license (OF 346, U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's Identification Card) and DA Form 348 (Equipment Operators Qualification Record) show a stamp reading "Winter Driving 2016." In order to get the stamp, TMP vehicle operators must watch the "Winter Safety 2016-2017" slide show below, and provide his or her OF 346 and DA Form 348 and a memorandum from their supervisor confirming that individuals listed have watched the slide show to the Garrison Safety Office.
