Mobilization Overview:In accordance with First Army's mission, First Army Division East Commanding General's intent is to always provide a realistic, mission-focused and demanding training environment for Reserve Component Deployment Expeditionary Force units in order to better prepare them for deployment; ensure no degradation to the unit's wartime contingency capability and fully maximize the time for RC units in theater. A significant portion of pre-deployment training and readiness will occur during pre-mobilization.
Demobilization Overview:
Post-mobilization training is the core competency of First Army as it validates and deploys RC, Joint, Combined, and Active Army Forces. Post mobilization training is mission-focused, thoroughly planned, coordinated, and conducted to Army standards. During post mobilization training the effort will be focused on collective training that culminates in the MRE/MRX. This will not only prepare units and Soldiers for deployment, but will enhance First Army's credibility as the Army's premier training command.

Medical Requirements and Training:
All Reserve and National Guard Soldiers who incur or aggravate an injury, illness or disease while mobilized are REQUIRED to have a Line of Duty (LOD) before REFRAD!

Pre-Deployment Trauma Training (PDTT):The pre-deployment trauma training (PDTT) courses are mandatory for all medical providers (physicians, physician assistants, oral surgeons, dentists and nurse practitioners), nurses (including registered nurses and certified resident nurse anesthetists), and 68W combat medics deploying on or after 01 OCT 09.
