Our Mission
Set the foundation to instill a Culture of Fitness that assists Sailors in developing their ability to complete tasks that supports the command mission and Navy operational readiness.

What's New

20 Jul 2016 - Some afloat commands are not able to access the application because they are on the CANES network which uses IE8.  IE9, as a minimum, is required to use this application.  Until CANES updates the browser, we advise CFLs onboard ships to utilize a CAC-enabled computer from an alternate location if possible.  All respective chains of command have been notified and are working on the problem.  A possible solution may be Firefox and/or ensure PRIMS is added to the Trusted Sites and scripting is enabled.

CFLs:  After you have updated PRIMS for Cycle 1 2016, please ensure all members who have PCS'd are placed in a transfer status.  Commands are sending our office emails requesting we transfer member records, however, these records cannot be released because Cycle 1 2016 data has not been input.  If member was assigned to an afloat or a training command with no CFL assigned, we will release those.  For all others, the CFLs and ACFLs need to use the resources in PRIMS which include emailing the previous command CFL (include CMCs if necessary) to get your new gain released from the previous command.  Please do not send email requests to release members into PRIMS mail box.  It is the CFLs responsibility.

30 June 2016 – The new PRIMS application is released.  This application has been completely redeveloped, and this first incremental release contains programing updates that will allow entry of PFA data.  Please begin inputting Cycle 1 2016 PFA data.  Additional functionality will be released within the next few weeks as soon as it is available.  That includes the reports and FEP.
There are a few glitches with this release development is working to correct.
1)      The PARFQ print option is not working.  A PARFQ can be input and saved but not printed.
2)     The Transfer Member In function is not displaying the Command Info when that option is selected.  There is a work-around for this.  When using Transfer Member In and the member’s record is not in a transfer status, scroll right to see the current command UIC.  Use that UIC in the Command Contact Information Lookup button located in the upper right section on the Command Screen.
3)     Cycle 2 2015 BCA is not calculating correctly.  There probably will not be any requirement for CFLs to input Cycle 2 2015, but if you do, it would be best to hold any records that require a body fat calculation.
4)     The Command Screen update function, which is only available to CFLs, is not working correctly when updating the CFL.  Please do not update this section with a different CFL.
Please report any problems not included in the above list.
A user guide is available under the Help link.
Please use the links at the left to contact us or access the policy website to obtain additional information or download the instruction and user guides, etc.

28 APR 16 - Cycle 1, 2016 - The PRIMS application has not been programmed to allow for the new PFA changes.  Cycle 1, 2016 will not be released until the reprogramming is completed.   The release date is undetermine at this time.  We will post the new date as soon as we have it.  If any command conducts the Cycle 1, 2016 PFA prior to the programming release, CFLs should ensure all score sheets are maintained for a minimum of 5 years, as required by the OPNAVINST 6110.1J  and held for input into PRIMS when Cycle 1, 2016 is released.  Do not place any PCSing members in a transfer status until the data is input.  Commands should provide these members with a letter or copies of their score sheets so gaining commands have knowledge of that Sailor's PFA status.
