Switching Plans

There are several reasons you may switch plans, by choice or because something changed:

You move and your plan options change
You military status changes (i.e. retire, separate, Guard/Reserve activation or deactivation)
You gain other health insuranceHealth insurance you have in addition to TRICARE, such as Medicare or an employer-sponsored health insurance. TRICARE supplements don’t qualify as "other health insurance." through your spouse’s employment or when you retire
You become eligible for Medicare
You’re an adult child and you go to college or become eligible for TRICARE Young Adult
