The College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) is home to a host of talented young students who are looking to make a career out of their creative abilities. Not surprisingly, this is one of the most competitive colleges at UNT. In recognition of this fact Housing offers a Living-Learning Community for students in CVAD or students who maintain a strong passion for art and design, though they may have chosen to major in another field. This community provides students with a built-in support group for difficult classes and their associated projects, as well as a jury of peers to review each other's work.
If you were to join the Living-Learning Community for Art and Communication Design, you would encounter:
Programs at your hall put on by CVAD faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, which deal specifically with your major, giving you insight in your classes.
The Art & Design Living-Learning community is housed in Kerr Hall for the 2016 - 2017 year.
You may have an opportunity to take the same course, required in your degree plan, with people who live within your Living-Learning Community.
*Coursework may change based on availability and what your Academic Advisor determines you need to take.
