- PublicA questions to my fellow Galaxy Nexus owners regarding MMS messaging. I can neither send nor receive picture messages. I've gone through forums and tried to resolve the issue, but no luck.
It seems to be a common issue with other carriers, not just Verizon. What I've tried as per troubleshooting thread suggestions:
Reboot.
Switched LTE/CDMA to CDMA only, reboot.
LTE/CDMA. Reboot.
Wi-Fi only.
Data only....

- Public #Google #Nexus 4 review in short:
Good: LG build quality, fast, Android 4.2
Bad: No LTE, No microSD storage (that's ok with me), Internal battery (i don't mind)
Conclusion: It's the phone to buy if you don't want iOS or the Samsung S3 is too big.
I still prefer the iPhone 4S for its size and overall features, but this Nexus 4 is the second best.

The Nexus 4 is the best phone yet from Google's premier Android line - but that doesn't mean it comes without compromise.

N7. It fits in my pocket. That's cool. Don't need bigger screen. But hell, I might buy N10 anyway because i like Google.

- PublicOne thing that I find a bit sad in the recent round of Nexus 4 / Nexus 10 reviews (from a journalistic perspective): Only a few of those actually inform their readers that they are based on using pre-release software. There is no final #android 4.2 yet. For instance from what I've heard the current build for the #Nexus 10 not even has multi-user-support enabled - at all. Don't get me wrong: There is nothing wrong with using pre-release software, but you have to make your users aware of that fact (especially when talking about things like battery life, which could easily be suboptimal due to a simple software bug).

+Clemens H I wish I could answer that, still waiting to get my hand on the new devices. Believe my: I hate that waiting more than anyone else...

It also seems that all of media reports are basing their judgement on this one test benchmark/cycle and copying from each other.
Neither Engadget nor The Verge were complaining about poor battery life at all in their pre-release tests.
I guess it boils down to the point you mentioned. If you are doing test with a pre-release SW/HW you need to reference that loud and clearly.

The Nexus is a strange category of device. Designed as a pure Android experience, it's a family of Google devices that's principally pitched at Android

My personal opinion is that Nexus 7 is decently priced but who doesn't love to get killer prices so I would have loved it more if it was around Rs.17,000/-

Did you call a Carphone Warehouse store or their customer centre? Store's said the same thing about the S3 and when I complained to customer service the store suddenly had them available and SIM free.

Because they can. On other social media nets you can't do more than a headline to explain your position. Like trying to summarize the New Testament into a single page--you get the basic outline but not the subtleness.
