Center for Sleep Medicine

The Center for Sleep Medicine provides testing for patients who suffer from sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia and narcolepsy.

Sherif Al-Farra, MD, chief of the division of pulmonology in the Department of Internal Medicine, serves as the director for Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Al-Farra is a diplomat of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and has been treating patients with sleep disorders for more than 12 years. He is also interested in collaborating with health science center researchers who study the effects of sleep apnea on the body and its functions.

“We have been eager to advance the offerings in Sleep Medicine for some time now,” Dr. Al-Farra said. “I’m looking forward to the great work that we can accomplish treating sleep disorders and learning more about them.”

The center is located near the Patient Care Center, at 3632 Modlin Ave. in Fort Worth. Call 817-732-4428 for more information.
