Students from a 6th Grade World History class at Antilles Middle School (Puerto Rico) and a 7th Grade World Geography class from Mahaffey Middle School (Kentucky) participated a collaborative project on world religions. The students worked together virtually and used Weebly to create websites that contain multiple pages that explore the history, beliefs, practices, and contemporary issues of the major world religions. Teachers, students, school ETs, and Instructional Systems Specialists from the New York/Virginia/Puerto Rico district and the Kentucky District are proud of the 7 web sites created by students as a result of this collaboration! This was an experimental venture for the students, teachers, and support staff in both districts and we all learned so much along the way.
