Description:
The BHS v4.0 Manager Utilities and Reports course is an advanced class for behavioral health Program Managers and/or Clinical Directors who are responsible for internal and external reports and exporting of behavioral health data. The class will be taught primarily in the roll and scroll version of the software therefore, proficiency in RPMS is strongly encouraged.
Over the course of the two-day session, the training will focus on:
Site Parameters in the Manager Utilities module: Exploring set up of the site parameters including discussion of access to records, coding queue, links to PCC, etc.
Data Entry Module: Generating “canned” reports that are available on the data entry menus such as Treatment Plans Needing Reviewed, GAF scores for one Patient, No Show report for a patient, etc.
Reports Module: Producing other management reports that are only available in the reports module exploring the functionality of the GEN and PGEN reports including exporting the information to a spreadsheet. Emphasis is placed on preparing the participants to generate reports that enable them to provide the outcome information for grants or to provide standardized reports to governing bodies, tribal leaders, etc.

CHR PCC 2.0 Option 2 data entry introduces new enhancements and includes:
1]fundamentals of the new non-registered patients upgrade and how to manage the non-registered patient data base,
2]how to create a group definition
3]how to enter the predefined narratives
4]how to access patient wellness handouts, and
5]useful information to prepare prior to home visit.
Participants will learn CHR PCC and its relational file structure, how to properly enter data using the correct form into the system and how to ensure entered data is exported to the National Data Warehouse [the National Data Warehouse is the only source of data the National CHR Program can utilize for budget justifications and congressional inquiries when needed].
Participants will also learn how to display visits, change dates, change providers, change forms and how to validate what they have entered. The data stored in the CHR PCC is essential for effective program management, grant writing and reports to the Tribal Government.
This training consist of lecture, power point and hands on utilizing individual computers with a simulated database. Skills and accuracy of data entry are verified with an end of class “hands-on” assessment

Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs provide a financial incentive for the “Meaningful Use” of certified EHR technology to achieve health and efficiency goals

This classroom "hands-on" training will be taught using Web Conferencing Technology and Satellite Classrooms at the [a] Office of Information Technology in Albuquerque, New Mexico – Mountain Time& multiple other locations [see website]. Each participant must have access to a computer with internet connection and a separate telephone line to dial into the web conferencing number. Participants must also have access to both their facility’s RPMS roll & scroll system and EHR GUI. It is expected that each site's participants will function as an EHR Working Team and be located in one central location at their facility during this training and deployment activity. It is also recommneded that the health care facility reduce appointments and reassign workloads in order to allow time to adjust to work processs and provide minimum disruption of on-going operations.

This is an intensive three day hands-on training on the iCare population management software. This course is designed to teach participants about the unique features and functionalities of iCare that include Care Management Event Tracking [CMET], HIV Management System, Meaningful Use, and Improved Patient Care. Description:
This training will focus on documentation of incidents of suicide, including ideation with plan and intent, attempts and completions using the RPMS Suicide Reporting Form [SRF]. At the conclusion of this 90 minute training participants will be able to: 1. Increase awareness and use of the RPMS Suicide Reporting Form 2. Provide guidance on completion of the RPMS Suicide Reporting Form 3. Increase RPMS SRF exported data The target audience is any provider, clinical supervisor or health care administrator located at a facility that utilizes RPMS.

Training will include: an overview of the RPMS revenue cycle, adding and editing insurance in Patient Registration, generating and editing claims, billing secondary payers, reading 837 files and troubleshooting denials, printing paper claims, exporting electronic claims, generating reports, and UFMS file reconciliation.
