If you are looking to replace a lost Merchant Mariner Credential then you are at the right place. Below you will find information in regards to the process and fees associate with the replacement of your MMC.
International Mariners - All subsequent applications by NON-US Citizens (i.e., renewal, upgrade, duplicate) must provide proof of nationality and immigration status - I-551 Alien Registration Card.
Please review the checklist to ensure that you do not miss or leave anything out of your application. Your application must be submitted (mailed) to a Regional Exam Center (REC) and not to the National Maritime Center.
Attached Statement of Loss - Attach a signed and dated statement explaining how, when, and where the credentials were lost or stolen and your efforts to recover them.
STCW are free of charge - except in the case of a reissue, replacement, and duplicate then we charge $45 dollars according to Title 46 section § 10.219(a) of the Code of Federal Regulation.
