February 20, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service in Tucson, AZ arrested Jim Ovecka and Michelle Chapman. They were being sought on Felony Theft charges originating in Nueces County, Texas. Ovecka and Chapman were operating the Two George's Seafood Restaurant in Corpus Christi.

February 14, 2013 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force arrested Mark Baker in Corpus Christi, Texas for Murder. He is accused of stabbing a man during an altercation on February 12, 2013. Baker was taken to the Nueces County Jail in lieu of a $140,000 bond.

February 13, 2013 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force arrested Anthony Diaz in Corpus Christi, TX. Diaz is accused of shooting a man on February 11, 2013 near the intersection of 15th Street and Morgan in Corpus Christi. The man later died as result of the gunshot wounds and Diaz was charged with his murder.

February 13, 2013 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) and the Alice Police Department arrested Mark Gonzalez in Alice, Texas. Gonzalez was wanted for Kidnapping and Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle.

December 04, 2012 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) arrested Jonathan Crane. Crane is accused of conducting a “home invasion” style robbery in San Juan County, New Mexico. Crane was wanted for Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping and Armed Robbery.

November 07, 2012 - The U.S. Marshals Services announces the arrest of Michael Clack. Clack was wanted in Nueces County for Aggravated Robbery charges. Clack’s warrant stems from an incident that occurred on October 20, 2012 where he allegedly robbed a family at gun point during a home invasion in Nueces County.

November 05, 2012 - Deputy U.S. Marshals and Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to the United States Marshals Service-multi agency led Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF), arrested a man wanted for Murder.  Reymundo Sanchez was wanted by the Hidalgo County Justice Court in Hidalgo County, Texas, for the offense of Murder that occurred on March 23, 2012.

October 17, 2012 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force arrested Aggravated Kidnapping subjects Carlos Oswaldo Zambrano, Romero Hinojosa Jr., and Abraham Linares. The three subjects were wanted as a result of them absconding from the Webb County Court House on October 16, 2012 during a recess of a court appearance. The original incident of Aggravated Kidnapping occurred on May 2, 2012, when all subjects were allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a male subject at gun point from his residence.

October 05, 2012 - A Houston man wanted for Indecency with a child was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service-multi agency led Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF).  Gonzalo Molina was wanted by the District Court in Harris County, Texas, for the offense of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

October 03, 2012 - A man wanted for Homicide was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service-multi agency led Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) on October 2, 2012.  Cruz Casanova Barrera was indicted by the 221st District Court in Montgomery County, Texas, for the offense of Homicide.

October 01, 2012 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) arrested Rickie Henderson and Criselda Juarez today for Aggravated Robbery. The two were wanted in San Patricio County for allegedly robbing a local gaming establishment on August 20, 2012 in Gregory, TX.

October 01, 2012 - A Texas woman wanted for cocaine charges was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service-multi agency led Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF). Selene Ramos was wanted by the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office in Plaquemine, Louisiana for the offense of Failure to Appear.

September 24, 2012 - NH Parole fugitive, Luis Figueroa was arrested this morning in Lawrence, MA by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Figueroa was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for parole violations, stemming from an original conviction for drug sales.

September 23, 2012 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) arrested James Beasley. Beasley was wanted in Indianapolis, Indiana for Homicide and Attempted Homicide. The warrant stemmed from two separate shooting incidents that occurred on August 08, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN.

September 23, 2012 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) arrested David Charles Eubank for Failure to Appear. Eubank was convicted in absentia for Attempted Child Molestation in 1994 after he fled during the trail in Monroe County, Indiana.

September 21, 2012 - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) arrested Johnny Reyes for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Retaliation Against a Witness.

February 24, 2011 -  As part of Operation Fallen Hero-Operation Bombardier, Houston area Federal, State, and local law enforcement officials have joined forces in a series of coordinated strikes against Mexican drug cartels and their associates who operate across the United States.  Operations in Central America, Colombia, and Brazil are also ongoing. Law enforcement counterparts have mobilized to increase pressure on these organizations at every level. This series of operations illustrate the continued resolve and commitment to attack these brutal Mexican cartels and trafficking associates with a unified front.  These efforts have proven successful as illustrated by seizures today in the Houston area of approximately $750,000 in U.S. Currency, 322 pounds of marijuana, 13 kilograms of cocaine, 37 weapons, 10 vehicles, and the arrest of 33 individuals.
