Use of Transformation Park and Beacon Hill Recreational Area

MEMORANDUM FOR SEE DISTRIBUTION
SUBJECT: United States Army Garrison Humphreys Policy Letter #32, Use of Transformation Park and Beacon Hill Recreational Area
1. The proponent of this policy is the Directorate, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.
2. This policy is effective immediately. It remains in effect until rescinded or superseded.
3. Transformation Park is the area of the installation that is situated between MacArthur Road, Sentry Road and Thompson Road, across the street from the commissary parking lot. Beacon Hill is the area of the installation to the east of Freedom Road stretching from the main gate to the east end of the runway. Transformation Park and Beacon Hill are identified as recreational parks for the installation. As such, they will not be used as a tactical training area in any manner. No tactical vehicles, equipment, tents, or activity will be allowed in the parks.
4. Use of Transformation Park and Beacon Hill for unit activities must be coordinated in advance with the USAG Humphreys Directorate, Family and MWR, Community Recreation Division, Recreation Branch – Outdoor Recreation at 753-3013, located in Bldg S-1044.
5. Point of contact for Transformation Park and Beacon Hill Recreational Area reservation is at 753-3013.
