Wine Tasting at Rydhave
Ambassador Fulton featured wines from the State of Washington at a wine tasting for the Danish food and beverage industry on Dec 3. Over 125 people participated, including the top of Danish wine retailers, restaurants, hotels and wine importers.

Election Breakfast at the Marriott
To celebrate the 2012 Presidential Election, US Embassy Copenhagen hosted an Election Breakfast at the Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen. Political leaders from across the political spectrum as well as leaders from business and the NGO sector participated.

Aman Ali from 30 Mosques in 30 Days visits Denmark
On April 11-13, 2012, Aman Ali of the 30 Mosques in 30 Days, a project featured on CNN, visited Denmark as part of his speaking performances in Europe. Visiting Copenhagen, Odense, and Aarhus; he presented at the Dansk Islamisk Center, various private Muslim schools, and Aarhus University; shared experiences with community and interfaith figures; and engaged in dialogue.

March 29 - U.S. Embassy relocated to Vejle for a day
For the first time in history, the U.S. Embassy in Denmark relocated to Jutland for one day on March 29th. U.S. Ambassador Laurie S. Fulton and Vejle Mayor Arne Sigtenbjerggaard officially opened the ”Embassy Day in Vejle,” at 10:00am at Spinderihallerne in Vejle.
