U.S. Embassy relocates to Vejle for a day
For the first time in history, the U.S. Embassy in Denmark will relocate to Jutland for one day on March 29th.
U.S. Ambassador Laurie S. Fulton and Vejle Mayor Arne Sigtenbjerggaard officially opened the ”Embassy Day in Vejle,” Thursday, March 29th at 10:00am at Spinderihallerne in Vejle.
From 10:00 to 14:00, Ambassador Fulton and representatives from the Embassy’s Consular, Defense Cooperation, Economic, Foreign Commercial Service, Political, and Public Affairs offices providided a unique view into the workings of the U.S. Embassy.
Ambassador Fulton met with students, local business leaders and some of her Facebook friends, made new friends and contacts. People from Vejle and neighboring areas showed up by the hundreds and made the day unforgettable.
