Welcome to the Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC-B) at Fort Lee, VA 23801. While here, you will be part of Charlie Company, 71st Student Battalion, Army Logistics University. Please read the attached Welcome Letter for more information on reporting, course standards, requirements, and company information.

Please read the attached General Information Letter about Travel, Vehicle Registration, Lodging Meals, Reporting Procedures, Telephone calls, Army APFT, Uniforms, Sudent Information, Student Rules,Grades, Academic Standards, and other general topics for students. 

Familiarize yourself with the student handbook prior to attending BOLC-B.

You will be required to have the following documents to in-process:

  1. 10 copies of orders
  2. DD Form 1610 provide 5 copies (if applicable)
  3. DD Form 93 provide 5 copies (emergency contact)
  4. SGLV (Service Group Life Insurance) provide 5 copies
  5. Marriage certificate 2 copies (if applicable)
  6. Children’s birth certificates 2 copies (if applicable)
  7. Copy of lease (to receive BAH)
  8. Vehicle registration, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  9. Copy of shot record and medical readiness (PHA, PDHRA, Dental, Vision, etc.). All your medical and outdated shots must be updated and copies provided to Charlie Co. NLT completion of in-processing
  10. If you own/operate a motorcycle and choose to ride your motorcycle on post please provide the Motorcycle Driver’s License, Insurance, and proof of Post Safety Course; bring in your helmet for inspection.
  11. Required uniforms:

    -    4 sets of serviceable ACU’s

    -    2 pair of boots

    -    ASU’s (required for Regular Army)

    -    Class A Green’s or ASU’s (required for Reserve Army, National Guard)

  12. DO NOT BRING TA-50 gear; you will receive the required TA-50 gear when you process through Fort Lee’s Central Issue Facility.

National Guard attending Resident Course:

Please ensure your state or unit is tracking that MTSS has gone away. There is no dining facility or contracting lodging or transportation available to students here at Fort Lee, VA. You will receive TDY funds to pay for your meals and lodging. Some hotels require payment every ten days. Ensure that your unit issues you a Government Travel Credit Card or a pay advance if required. Please review the attached MTSS Memo to provide your state or unit.  If you reside on post the in and around mileage is 12 miles per day. Students may receive a statement of non-availability and will be required to stay off post.  In and Around Mileage for off post is 25 miles per day.

Medical Emergencies or Urgent Care while travelling please call TRICARE at 1-877-874-2273 for a network provider in the area you are traveling and then your PCM will need to be contacted for a referral to that out of area provider.
