Welcome to the Quartermaster Basic Officer Leader Course (QM BOLC-B) at Fort Lee, VA 23801. While here, you will be part of Bravo Company, 71st Student Battalion, Army Logistics University. Please read the attached Welcome Letter and Inbrief presentation for more information on reporting, course standards, requirements, and company information. Familiarize yourself with the student handbook prior to attending BOLC-B.

You will be required to have the following documents to in-process:

  1. 10 copies of orders
  2. DD Form 1610 provide 5 copies (if applicable)
  3. DD Form 93 provide 5 copies (emergency contact)
  4. SGLV (Service Group Life Insurance) provide 5 copies
  5. Marriage certificate 2 copies (if applicable)
  6. Children’s birth certificates 2 copies (if applicable)
  7. Copy of lease/ rental agreement (to receive BAH)
  8. Vehicle registration, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  9. DA Form 31 – Leave form
  10. Copy of shot record and medical readiness (PHA, PDHRA, Dental, Vision, etc.). All your medical and outdated shots must be updated and copies provided to Bravo Co. NLT completion of in-processing
  11. If you own/operate a motorcycle and choose to ride your motorcycle on post please provide the Motorcycle Driver’s License, Insurance, and proof of Post Safety Course; bring in your helmet for inspection.
  12. Required uniforms:

    a.    4 sets of serviceable ACU’s

    b.    2 pair of boots

    c.    ASU’s (required for Regular Army)

    d.    Class A Green’s or ASU’s (required for Reserve Army, National Guard)

    e.    Physical Fitness Uniforms from: 1 May – 30 September (3 shorts & 3 short sleeve shirts); from 1 October – 31 April (2 jackets, 2 pants, 3 shorts and 3 long-sleeve shirts)

    f.     Serviceable running shoes

  13. You may bring TA-50 gear if you have it available; However, you will receive the required TA-50 gear when you in-process through Fort Lee’s Central Issue Facility.

Students are on MTSS for lodging and will be given a lodging assignment upon arrival.

National Guard attending Resident Course:

There is no dining facility available to students here at Fort Lee, VA. You will receive TDY funds to pay for your meals. Ensure that your unit issues you a Government Travel Credit Card or a pay advance if required. If you reside on post the in and around mileage is 10 miles per day. In and Around Mileage for off post is 20 miles per day.

Recommend that you request follow-on schools through your unit prior to attending BOLC-B.
