Student Programs at the Missile Defense Agency

Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA’s) student program is a great means to experience government service early in your academic career. Students working towards diplomas, degrees, or certificates at an accredited educational institution may be eligible for the program.

On December 27, 2010, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) was directed by Executive Order 13562 to restructure all student programs within the U.S. Government, which includes student programs within the Department of Defense and therefore at MDA. In all government agencies and organizations, the Student Program, along with the New Graduate program and the Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) program will be consolidated under one program, collectively called the “Pathways Program”. Once the restructured program is published to our agency, MDA will manage these programs under a single point of contact. When finalized, we will post the point of contact information in this section.

At this point in time, MDA is not accepting applications for the student program. We suggest you access this section regularly to see if MDA application procedures have been posted concerning the student program under Pathways.
