WALLPAPER
Step 1: Select the image you prefer and the size that fits your
monitor. Images labeled as wallpapers are usually sized to cover your whole computer
screen without tiling.
Step 2: Right click on the image you have selected.
Step 3: Click “Set As Desktop Background” or “Set As Wallpaper”
from the dialogue box that appears.
Step 4: If you have selected the correct size to fit your screen,
choosing “Center” in the dialog box that opens should allow the image to properly
fill your screen. You can left-click on each option (“Center,” “Tile” and “Stretch”)
to see a preview:
-
“Center puts the image in the middle of your screen. If you select “Center,”
choose the color that you would like to border the image.
-
“Tile” uses as many images as necessary to cover the screen. The smaller the image,
the more copies will be needed.
-
“Stretch” distorts the image to fill the size of the screen regardless of the image’s
size or proportion.
Step 5: Click “Set Desktop Background,” and the selected image should
appear as your desktop wallpaper.
SCREENSAVER
Step 1: Click on the download link for your screen saver and
save it to your computer. If you are using a Mac, open the screen saver panel and
drag the screen saver from where you saved it and drop it into the panel.
Step 2: On a Windows machine, double click the file to open it,
and follow the instructions in the installation wizard. You will be asked if you
want to “run this file”; click yes to proceed.
Step 3: Once installed, go to your Control Panel and click on Display
Properties/Screen Saver. Select the screen saver and click ok to activate it.
