Regional Training Site – Maintenance Devens conducted a change of command on Monday 27 June 2011.  Major Joseph B. Shalosky is departing after two and a half years as Commandant.  He will be leaving for resident ILE at Fort Lee, VA and then will report to the 377th Theater Sustainment Command in New Orleans.  MAJ Shalosky and his family will be missed and everyone at Fort Devens wishes them well. 

Major Timothy Sanders will assume command of the RTS-M.  He transferred from an assignment at USACAPOC at Fort Bragg, NC with his wife and two children.  Welcomed by everyone in attendance, Major Sanders addressed that he is excited to take charge of a unit that has such an impact on Soldiers and the Army as a whole. 

COL Hence, MAJ Shalosky, MAJ Sanders, and SGM Chovan conducted the time-honored tradition of passing the unit colors.  In attendance were representatives from the Fort Devens Garrison, the 80th Training Command, the 94th Training Division, and Detachment, Ordnance Maintenance Company.  After a few inspirational words from COL Hence, the ceremony concluded as COL Hence awarded MAJ Shalosky with the Meritorious Service Medal.
