Officer and Enlisted Sponsorship
Mission: Manage officer and enlisted strengths.
Officer and Enlisted Strength Management Process: Assignment of inbound officer and enlisted Soldiers: At 90 days prior to arrival, Officer and Enlisted Strength Management will make the tentative pinpoint assignment, task the Major Subordinate Command to provide a sponsor from the unit, and mail the initial welcome letter from Fort Riley that includes tentative pinpoint assignment. If you have not received a sponsor and you are less than 90 days from arrival to Fort Riley, contact Strength Management. All Soldiers are initially assigned to Headquarters, Fort Riley Replacement Company. Officer and Enlisted Strength Management further assigns Soldiers to the Major Subordinate Commands according to the needs of Fort Riley and each Soldier's qualifications.
Request a sponsor: If you would like to request a sponsor, complete the DA Form 5434 Sponsorship Request Form and email to fort.riley.sponsorship.request@us.army.mil. If you are unable to email the form, please fax it to (785) 239-0416. Your request will be forwarded to your gaining unit and a sponsor will be assigned to assist you.
