'Iron Rangers' know how to get the job done on and off the battle field. 1-16th command conducts a Covenant Signing with the Franklin Elementary principal to renew their commitment to the school. The adopt-a-school program is designed for students and Soldiers to interact in a learning environment. The program allows Soldiers to mentor students and assist with study groups, field trips and school sports. The time and dedication is completely voluntary. The smiles and increase in attendance and grade averages is all the satisfaction needed. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Melissa Crawford, 1st HBCT PAO)
