- Award Description The Bright Idea award recognizes innovative government initiatives, at all levels of government. Winning initiatives demonstrate creative solutions to social issues. Issues may include urban and rural degradation, environmental problems, and student academic achievement. This year, 111 government initiatives received the award.
- Granting Organization The Bright Idea award is awarded by the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Winning programs were selected by a team of policy experts from academic and public sectors.

- Granting Organization USDLA, the premier distance learning association since 1987, honors organizations annually with its 21st Century Best Practices Awards.

The success of this project was made possible through collaboration among all VA administrations and Plateau Systems. The new TMS streamlines the training process and simplifies other learning tasks and activities. The result is cost and time savings to the federal government, VA and the Veterans we serve.

- Granting Organization Brandon Hall Group is a membership organization that performs industry research in talent management, learning and development, performance-driven organizations and HR readiness. The Group produces many reports each year for its member organizations. The Brandon Hall Awards program has recognized excellence in learning and technology since 1998.
