Welcome to Vilseck High School
We are located in eastern Bavaria, near the Czech border and close to the cities of Nuremburg and Regensburg. In addition to Rose Barracks, VHS services the community of Grafenwoehr and the surrounding housing areas. VHS is home to approximately 520 students, grades 9-12, who have the opportunity to participate in Engaged Learning projects in academic areas. In addition, they have a wide range of choices in elective areas as well as many extracurricular activities.
Incoming students and their parents are welcomed first by the Registrar and school guidance counselors who make every effort to match stateside academic classes with those offered by VHS. Distance learning classes are also available.
The compact size of VHS offers advantages to those students who wish to become involved in any one of a myriad of activities. We urge you to become all that you can be participating fully at VHS.
