Ambassador Marciel officially opened the Fair, where attendees visited the booths of 24 U.S. higher education institutions. The Fair offered the opportunity for students to learn more about the majors, programs, scholarships, and other educational opportunities available in the United States.

U.S. Ambassador Scot Marciel hosted over 500 guests for the launch of @america’s second anniversary festival. @america, a one-of-a-kind cultural center for the U.S. State Department, opened in November 2010. Since opening only two years ago, the center has welcomed more than 260,000 guests and held over 1,300 events.

United States Offers Support to Indonesians Affected by Flooding In Jakarta (01/19/13)

On December 13, U.S. Ambassador Scot Marciel participated in a grant signing ceremony for a U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) feasibility study grant with PT Teknosatria Energi Geothermal (PT TEG). The grant provides $546,766 to accelerate the development of the private Cibuni geothermal project in West Java.
