The swim portion of a triathlon is the most physical and mentally demanding, especially if the swim takes place in an open body of water. Waves, undercurrents, and the limbs of fellow competitors can make even a modest distance challenging. Efficient swimming techniques can reduce your exertion in the water, leaving you with plenty of energy to tackle the bike and run portions. This will be a great opportunity to meet other triathletes and swap notes while training together. We will conduct swim drills and offer advice so you can tackle the swim portion of any triathlon with confidence. $5.00 per class. Registration not required. Topics will include animals, nature, and seasonal items. Cost is $70.00 plus $25.00 for materials (total $95.00). 	Time: 1015 Fort Detrick Bus Departs from Bldg 949, Sultan Drive	Family Snow Tubing Trip to Ski Liberty Join Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) for their Family Snow Tubing Trip to Ski Liberty on Saturday, 23 February 2013. Cost is $45.00 for members ages 5 and above. $47.00 for non-members ages 5 and above. Prices include transportation to and from Ski Liberty, 2 hours of snow tubing, and choice of lunch. The bus will depart Building 949 (Sultan Drive) at 1015. Tubing times are from 1200-1400. Lunch will be after tubing. Grades 6th-12th may attend without a parent.
