Mission:
The mission of Family Programs is to promote National Guard families to be self-reliant during both deployment and peacetime through education, outreach services, and partnerships by leveraging resources, training and constantly capitalizing on new capabilities, concepts and technological advances. Family Programs provides service members and family members education and information giving them the resources to handle most situations independently. Family Programs also provides referral assistance, crisis assistance, outreach services and support when needed. Family wellness is promoted through education on benefits and programs available to families and service members.
Vision:
The end result of the execution of our programs is National Guard Families who are independent and self-reliant during any separation from their Service Member, fully educated to handle emergencies when they occur and able to support themselves and provide support to others within their group. We also Provide Unit Commanders the peace of mind and confidence that when their Service Members are separated from their Families, the Service Member can perform their mission and be fully engaged mentally and physically with their mission, knowing their Families doing fine back on the home front.
