    CORRECTING YOUR AARTS TRANSCRIPT

Active Duty, Guard & Reserves without an Undergraduate Degree
If you are an Active Duty, Guard or Reserve Soldier and your Army/ American Council on Education Registry Transcript System (AARTS) record is missing course information, you must contact the respective training school to update your ATRRS records to reflect course completion. If an update is required within 30 days, we recommend that in addition you should visit American Council on Education (ACE) Guide to Learning Experiences to locate credit recommendations for the courses/MOS shown on your ATRRS/other verification documents. You can complete a DD Form 295 using the information shown on the ACE Guide. Do not contact ACE directly, but fill out the DD Form 295. If your rank is wrong, you should submit your current ATRRS record, copies of your promotion orders, and other verification documents to your school. The AARTS Operations Center is a transcription center and end user. The AARTS staff cannot complete such personnel actions.

Active Duty, Guard & Reserves with an Undergraduate Degree
If you have already completed your baccalaureate degree, you should submit your current AARTS transcript, along with a completed DD Form 295 using the information shown on your ATRRS/other certified documents, directly to your school so that they may award you credits based on the recommendations outlined in the ACE Guide to Learning Experiences.

    Veterans with an AARTS Account
If you are a Veteran, and you do have an AARTS record in our system; you should submit the most current copy of your AARTS, a copy of your certified DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Service, along with a completed DD Form 295 directly to your school.

    Veterans without an AARTS Account
If you are a Veteran, and you do not have an AARTS record in our system, and if your Basic Active Service Date (BASD) is before 1 October 1981; you should submit your certified DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Service, along with a completed DD Form 295 directly to your school so that they may award you credits based on the recommendations outlined in the ACE Guide to Learning Experiences.
