User Eligibility

Full library service is available to the following groups:

• Surgeons General of the Army, Navy, and Air Force and their staffs
• Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs
• Tricare Management Activity
• OCONUS deployed military medical personnel – for direct patient care

Library Registration

• Contact library staff at afml@tma.osd.mil for instructions on registering
• Military personnel and Department of Defense (DoD) civilians self-register
• DoD contractors require permission from their COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative) before registering for library services. The COR is either a military officer or DoD civilian, not a person working for the contractor. The COR must have already registered before the contractor can register; the COR is ‘sponsoring’ the contractor and is responsible for any missing material signed out by the contractor.
