Athens Registration

User Eligibility

Full library service is available to the following groups:

• Surgeons General of the Army, Navy, and Air Force and their staffs
• Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs
• Tricare Management Activity
• OCONUS deployed military medical personnel – for direct patient care

Library Registration

Access to the Virtual Library requires online registration. Military and Government Civilians self-register. Contractors must have their COR (Contracting Officer Representative) complete the entire registration process. The COR must have previously registered online and obtained an Athens ID.

Registrants will receive their Athens ID by email within five working days upon successful submission of their registration details. They will then be prompted to create an account password to complete the registration process. The password is secure and not accessible by the library staff.
