The Far East Volleyball Championship is divided into two separate tournaments held in early November. One of the events is for D-1 and the other for D-2. DoDEA Pacific hosts the events and invited international schools to compete. Teams are seeded after pool play to compete for the championship. Awards are given to the top 3 teams in D-1 and D-2. The all-tournament is comprised of 15 players, for both D-1 and D-2.
Far East Volleyball was established with the Division 1 event in 1976 making it one of the oldest Far East events. The first Far East Volleyball Champions was Wagner School from Clark AFB in the Philippines. Division 2 Volleyball was added as a Far East event in 1998.
