The Far East Tennis Championship tournament is held on Kadena Air Base each year in November. Players from both DoDEA Pacific and international schools meet to compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.  Awards are given to the top 3 teams for boys, girls, and school.

The Far East Tennis event was established in 1979. International schools dominated the championship event until DoDEA Pacific slimmed the tournament to exclude the international schools. International schools were invited to participate again in 2010.
