Far East Baseball became an official Far East event in SY 2009-2010 in the Spring of 2010. Prior to 2010 Far East Baseball was part of the Pacific Area Interscholastic Athletic Program.

The tournament is held each spring in May. DoDEA Pacific hosts the event and invites international schools to participate as well.  The tournament is set up with pool play which is followed by a modified single-elimination on the last 2 days.  Awards are given to the top 3 teams, the Outstanding Player of the tournament and 15 All Tournament players.
