"Course in progress" error
My screen shows that my course is still in progress and it won't complete. What should I do?
To ensure you receive credit for completed courses, please launch the "In-Progress" course again and be sure all screens have been visited on the course map. To reach the conclusion slide, be sure that you have clicked through all the screens in the course to include sub-screens, i.e., screens with clickable items within. You may want to double check that you have clicked EVERY potential link within the screens.
Click the "Exit," "Close," or "Log out," button on the final slide of the course. DO NOT use the RED "X" in the upper-right hand corner. Exiting courses improperly may cause an "In progress" status. It also may cause the bookmarking within the course to not work properly.
If none of these solutions work, contact the Registrar's Office at cdse.registrar.support@dss.mil for assistance. They will be able to assist with closing the course and ensuring you receive credit in the STEPP system. You should hear back from them within 24 hours.
