On July 13, 2010, President Barack Obama released the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Designed to re-focus public attention on ending the domestic HIV epidemic, the Strategy articulates a clear vision and details a set of priorities and strategic action steps tied to measurable outcomes, providing a roadmap for moving the Nation forward in addressing the domestic HIV epidemic. Earlier that day, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, Domestic Policy Council Director Melody Barnes, Director of the Office of National AIDS Policy Jeffrey Crowley, and Assistant Secretary for Health Howard Koh spoke during the an event announcing National HIV/AIDS Strategy.
