SGT Magdalena James

Find out how Magdalena's training and personal experience have helped her become Army Strong.

SGT Magdalena James: Hi, I'm Sergeant Magdalena James. I'm a 97 Bravo, a counter-intelligence Special Agent. I've been in the Army for two years.
For me, I think I have the best job in the Army. Counter-intelligence fits me very well.
Once I finished my basic training I went to Fort Huachuca for my AIT, that's Advanced Individual Training, and there the Army taught me how to talk to people; to gain intelligence from what they're saying and what they're not saying.
But like any intelligence, it doesn't do anyone any good if it's not sent forward. The Army also teaches you report writing, and how to send that information.
Anybody can do what I did, all you need is a bit of dedication and some motivation.
Ultimately it was the right decision for me, I don't think I would be any happier anywhere else.
