Draft AC 150/5345-42G, Specification for Airport Light Bases, Transformer Housings, Junction Boxes, and Accessories (posted 06/22/2012)
Contains the specifications for airport light bases, transformer housings, junction boxes, and accessories. This AC is not intended to be a compilation of currently available product designs. Instead, it provides the basic standard requirements for critical dimensions and performance requirements to which all manufacturers must demonstrate compliance. This draft prohibits exothermic welds on galvanized steel light bases, introduces coated steel fasteners per Engineering Brief 83, updates the torque test for L-868 light bases, and updates websites and documents listed in Section 2. See Paragraph 5, Principal Changes, for a complete list of changes in this draft.

Draft AC 150/5345-53D, Airport Lighting Equipment Certification Program (posted 06/20/2012)
Describes the Airport Lighting Equipment Certification Program (ALECP). Explains how an organization can get FAA acceptance as a third party certification body (third party certifier) and how manufacturers may get equipment qualified under the program. Includes a list (updated monthly) of equipment certified under the program.

Draft AC 150/5300-13A, Airport Design (posted 05/01/2012)
Contains the FAA standards and recommendations for airport design. This draft substantially revises AC 150/5300-13 to incorporate all changes to that document as well as new standards and technical requirements. This AC introduces the Runway Design Code (RDC), the Runway Reference Code (RRC), and the Taxiway Design Group (TDG) concept for fillet design; expands the discussion on Declared Distances and the Runway Protection Zone (RPZ); establishes a minimum separation between non-intersecting runways; includes Runway Incursion Prevention geometry for new construction; consolidates many design tables into an interactive Runway Design Requirements Matrix; and adds hyperlinks to access other documents and move within this document. We will incorporate the final version of Change 19 to the current Airport Design AC, AC 150/5300-13, into the final version of AC 150/5300-13A, which we plan to publish by September 31, 2012.
