Lieutenant Ryan Waitt is a 2005 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, Lieutenant Waitt was assigned as a Deck Watch Officer aboard Coast Guard Cutter Spencer based out of Boston, Massachusetts. He was then assigned to the Coast Guard Cutters Kodiak Island and Nantucket in St Petersburg, Florida where he served as the Executive Officer. Lieutenant Waitt and his wife Gina married in 2007 and now reside in Rhode Island.
