Operations Research and Computer Analysis Internships
The Department of Mathematics sponsors a Senior Summer Internship Program. This program is designed as an opportunity for professional growth for senior cadets who have displayed exceptional abilities both academically and militarily. Summer Internship Programs are designed to expand the cadets' knowledge of the Operations Research and Computer Analysis (ORCA) major and their understanding of the role of the Coast Guard. Since 2007, summer internships have been offered at the following locations:
- National Security Agency
- CG Deployable Operations Group
- CG Office of Requirements and Analysis (CG-771)
- CG Office of Performance Management (CG-0954)
- CG Operations Systems Center (OSC Martinsburg)
- Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute
