Great Ships Initiative.
The Great Ships Initiative (GSI) is a collaborative effort to end the problem
of ship-mediated invasive species in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway System
(GLSLSS) through independent research and demonstration of environmental technology,
financial incentives and consistent basin-wide harbor monitoring. The GSI is
managed jointly by the Northeast-Midwest Institute, the National Fish and Wildlife
Foundation and American Great Lakes Ports Association.

Plant Management Network.
The Plant Management Network (PMN) now offers an online platform in support of the outreach/communication component required by many granting agencies. The service provides for the production and hosting of educational webcasts (narrated presentations) and other resources in a centralized, interdisciplinary, and institutionally-neutral publication venue. Presentations are publicly available and reach PMN's audience of growers, agribusiness professionals, private and public researchers, educators, policymakers, and the public at large.
