The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the streets, alleys, drainage systems, signage and the fleet of vehicles and equipment that are owned by the City of Rosenberg. They are also responsible for various capital projects and numerous maintenance contracts. The City of Rosenberg is 22.29 square miles with over 115 miles of paved streets and drainage systems that are maintained by the Street Division. The Vehicle Maintenance Division maintains approximately 168 pieces of equipment for the City of Rosenberg.
