The City's Animal Control Division consists of two Animal Control
Officers whose primary duty is to protect citizens from danger and
nuisances created by uncontrolled or diseased animals. Protection of
citizens is accomplished through the enforcement of various state
statutes and City ordinances. The Division is also responsible
for taking proactive measures to place stray and abandoned animals
in adoptive homes, and the maintenance and operation of the Animal
Control Shelter.


Hours of operation:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Monday through Friday.

Animal Emergencies are answered 24 hours a day.
