In an effort to enhance the services provided to the citizens of Arlington, the Arlington Fire Department and The Arlington Professional Firefighters Association have partnered to champion the Vial of Life program.

The Vial of Life program puts vital medical information in the hands of emergency medical providers when seconds count. Participants in the program will be given a form to fill out, the form will contain the patients’ name, pertinent medical history and emergency contact information.

Once complete the form will be rolled up and put into an oversized pill capsule then stored in the refrigerator. A magnet will be placed on the refrigerator door and a sticker located at the front door to notify emergency responders of the Vial of Life.
