To apply for access to a TEA Web application, click the request access link next to the application in the list below. Superintendents and other organization heads must apply for User Administration +. This gives them the ability to manage staff requests for access to TEA online applications. Some applications still require forms to be printed, signed, and sent to TEA. For most newer applications, the entire process can be completed online. TEA recommends that organization heads appoint a backup submitter according to Designee Instructions.

Contact information for each application is listed below. APPLICATIONS ARE LISTED IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO THE ONE YOU NEED.

How to Reset Your Password

If you forget your password:
  1. From the Log On page, click Did you forget your password? at the bottom of the screen.
  2. In the Forgot Your Password? page, enter your User Name (authorized user name provided by TEA for logging into the application, not your first and last name) or Email address and click Continue
When prompted, enter the answer to the question. This is the question you set up when you logged on to the application for the first time. NOTE:  TEASE is case sensitive so your answer must exactly match what you initially entered.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. When the Change Password page appears, enter a new password. Your password must be at least 8 characters long and include at least 3 of these 4 character types: Lower case letters, upper case letters, numbers, and special characters, for example, # or *. Please see more "Tips" below.

If you have forgotten your answer or cannot reset your own password, send an e-mail message to computer.access@tea.state.tx.us for assistance.

Tips for Selecting a Secure Password

Passwords are important because they protect your work and students' private data from the malicious acts of others.

Select a password that meets these requirements:

It contains at least 3 of these 4 character types: Lower case letters, upper case letters, numbers, and special characters, for example, #, *, $, or @
It is at least 8 characters long (16 characters maximum) .
It does not contain a real word longer than 4 characters.
It does not contain your name, the word "password", or any variations of these.
It is different from your previous password.

The following are some acceptable passwords (please do not use these actual examples yourself):
5509Lane@
Lean5mean
Hou#se404

Examples of unacceptable passwords:
MyOffice
pa55w0rd
Margaret1

If you have trouble remembering your password, write it down in a well-concealed place — not on a yellow sticky note attached to your monitor or under your keyboard. NEVER share your password with others; you are responsible for all actions performed with your account.
